Program Description

MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM

The Mental Health Program promotes the integration of mental health and addiction services within primary care, building on the strength of existing networks with physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, mental health workers and related agencies/services with an emphasis on early detection, identification and treatment. Services offer early identification, screening, assessment and treatment; linkages to appropriate services, assistance with system navigation and ongoing service coordination.
